Municipal food waste diversion pilot program

French River FoodCycler Program - Pilot Now Full!

The Municipality launched the French River FoodCycler Pilot Program, a 12-week initiative that helps reduce household food waste and greenhouse gas emissions while producing nutrient-rich soil amendment for your gardens!

Thanks to a partnership with Food Cycle Science and funding support, residents of French River can now register to purchase a FoodCycler™ Eco3 or Eco5 at a significantly discounted price and participate in this community sustainability initiative.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the French River FoodCycler pilot program! We’re excited to share that all 100 units have been sold as part of this initiative aimed at reducing household food waste.
