Declaration of Emergency - 2026 Flooding

Emergency Declaration – April 14, 2026

The Municipality of French River has declared a State of Emergency effective 9:30 am on April 15, 2026, due to rising water levels from dam discharges and rapid snowmelt combined with significant rainfall, which are impacting infrastructure and stretching local resources.

The Declaration of Emergency allows the Municipality to formally acquire assistance and deploy additional resources.
