The Municipality of French River provides waste disposal and diversion services for residents, including access to transfer stations and the Noëlville Landfill, recycling information, electronic waste disposal and scheduled household hazardous waste events. The system includes transfer stations, a municipal landfill and programs that help reduce waste and protect our natural environment.

Transfer Stations
Transfer stations are available for residential household garbage only.
• Alban Transfer Station: 867 St. David Street
• Noëlville Transfer Station: 15 St. David Street North
• Shaw Rd. Tranfer Station: 290m past Amateewakea River Rd.
A limit of two bags per property per day applies. Large items, construction debris, hazardous waste, electronics and commercial waste must not be left at transfer stations.

Before You Visit the Landfill
- Check in with landfill staff before unloading.
- Be prepared to provide proof of residency or property ownership.
- Separate and sort materials as directed by staff.
- Some materials are subject to disposal fees.
- Do not leave waste at the landfill gates or outside operating hours.
